For Devonport local Ann O'Sullivan, pottery and ceramics are a treasured pastime.
The owner of popular local cafe and eatery Corellis, Ann's true passion is rendering her beautiful and inspired ceramic homewares. For the avid Dish reader, you'll no doubt recognise Ann's pieces instantly – we've long admired her work. From platters to beakers to treasured ramekins, Ann's eclectic style is the perfect acompaniment to Claire's gorgeous backlog of recipes.
As a member of the Auckland studio Potters, this is where Ann now fires most of her work. Raised in Reefton on the South Island's glittering West Coast, Ann is now a proud Devonport local and active member of her community. Having garnered a reputation in ceramics, Ann gains inspiration for her work both at home and abroad, leading firings and workshops in locations throughout Australia and even China.
Yet for Ann, the thrill of ceramics lies in creating sentimental pieces that bakers, homecooks and everyday entertainers can use and appreicate at home. To celebrate this Mother's Day, Ann has kindly donated two of her beautiful homemade Miffy Beakers, to gift to two lucky Dish readers.
