Plants, Butterflies and Drying Up
Auckland Museum's shop is full of beautiful items for the kitchen that are rich with history, like their Plants and Butterflies tea towel collection.
Exclusive to Auckland Museum, these tea towels feature a selection of six colour plates from a rare book in their Library Reserve Collection; Plantae et Papiliones Rariores by Georg Dionysius Ehret (1708-1770), published in 1748.
100% cotton and only $15.00 each, they will make long lasting, pretty gifts, adding a splash of colour whilst drying the dishes.
The tea towels are available onsite at The Museum Store and also online at: www.aucklandmuseum.com/store
