Between the 13th and 16th of November, Western Springs will be the tastiest park in Auckland, coming alive with pop-up food stands from the country's finest food and drinks producers. One of the first food events of the summer, now's the time to get it locked in your diary (and a cheaper ticket) before the season fully takes hold.
International chefs and sommeliers will be amongst the line up set to educate and entertain in a series of live demonstrations, debates and talks, taking place in a number of specially designed stages in the park. Australian celebrity sommelier Matt Skinner will be in attendence once more to lead a series of wine tasting masterclasses with Plumm glassware, and the Fisher and Paykel Chef's Kitchen will host a number of celebrated chefs.
The Magner Cider Bandstand has yet to announce its line up, but there are whispers of a return of festival favourite Sal Valentine and the Babyshakes, and a 12-piece Wellingtonian band.
