It took Mexico's Executive Chef, Javier Carmona hours of tasting, prepping and no doubt wincing at too-hot peppers to create four beautifully balanced Mexican sauces, from the kitchen at their Britomart boutique outlet. Having tried sauces from around the world, Javier's prime mission was to create a range which puts flavour before heat, and has triumphed in sauces that taste delicious without resulting in watery eyes.
Working with Chris from Culley's, the duo have brewed and bottled four classic recipes with unique twists - Chipotle, which features blackened pimento; Tomatillo with toasted fennel seed and green habanero; Mango with hints of floral coconut, yellow scotch bonnet and cardomom and ginger and Habernero, which boasts explosive heat and the cooling tones of eucalyptus scented pink peppercorn.
