Come and celebrate the start of long, sunny days in style. Executive chef Gareth Stewart and his team at The Culpeper have prepared a six-course menu matched to Lanson Champagne and other sparkling wines – it is a night not to miss. The play of flavours and effervescence have been designed to delight the palate, while you relax in the beautiful waterside setting of Auckland’s Viaduct.
The six-course menu will include the below dishes:
- Big Glory Bay salmon ‘cones’ – poke dressing, avocado sorbet, finger lime
- ‘Asparagus Rolls’ – truffle, pancetta, smoky yolk, brioche
- Fresh doughnuts – black sesame, smoked strawberry & miso ice cream
An exquisite range of Champagne and sparkling wines are in the spotlight to showcase how the different styles can be matched with food to great effect. From New Zealand’s favourite labels, Daniel Le Brun and Lindauer, to a cheeky prosecco from the Graham Norton range, there is a bubbles experience for all tastes. To make the evening truly memorable, you’ll be treated to some of the finest examples from the House of Lanson. Since 1760, the House of Lanson has remained family owned, with its Champagnes made the original way, meaning an exceptional development of flavour.
With its stylish yet laid-back décor, The Culpeper, led by Nourish Group executive chef and dish columnist Gareth Stewart, has gained a solid reputation for excellent food and a great ambience. Dishes take their influence from around the globe, with an emphasis on seafood and barbecue. With its waterside setting and focus on quality, The Culpeper is the perfect spot to create some sparkling moments.
