Thompson's Bring World Herb Day to New Zealand and Australia

Thompson’s, The Master Herbalists for over 70 years, are bringing the internationally recognised World Herb Day to New Zealand and Australia for the first time in 2023.

Alongside bringing greater awareness to the numerous benefits of herbs in our everyday lives, Thompson’s wish to use World Herb Day as an opportunity to provide education to consumers who are beginning their journey towards a natural and holistic life.

Thompson’s was founded in New Zealand by herbalist Mark Barrington Thompson, who opened one of New Zealand’s first health stores – called Thompson’s – in 1951. Over the past 70 years, the Thompson’s business prospered and is today considered a renowned leader in herbal supplements and natural health solutions.

To share their herbal expertise across New Zealand, Thompson’s will launch a dedicated Herbalist Hub – a free, online destination filled with useful information on the benefits of these potent herbal ingredients and their many uses in supporting everyday health and well-being to provide resources for consumers interested in natural supplements.
