De'Longhi Group Showroom - Dinner Party Prep
Queen of the laid-back dinner party, Delaney Mes, shares her winter prepping tips at the new De'Longhi Group showroom.
They say food can mend a broken heart, which was in 2010 the impetus for Aucklander Delaney Mes' now very successful food blog, Heartbreak Pie. Her easy-to-follow recipes and pop-up dining events have in the four years since the blog's inception garnered her a reputation for fuss-free dining.
She's sharing her tips for preparing the perfect casual winter dinner party on Saturday the 12th of July at the glossy new De'Longhi Group showroom space in Newton. Over the course of an hour and half, Delaney will teach you how to create hearty winter courses with appliances from De'Longhi, Kenwood and Braun. Dishes include roast carrot hummus, smoked fish and fennel salad with pistachio, 3-hour lamb with spices and mint served on apricot and almond couscous and homemade vanilla bean ice cream with coffee cardamon syrup for dessert.
Tickets are $49.00 and can be bought here. Each guest will receive a goodie bag full of VIP treats.
Where: De'Longhi Group Showroom, 99 Khyber Pass Rd, Newton.
When: Saturday 12th July, 11.00am - 12.30pm.

We start with our Plating Game interview with Jesse Mulligan which inspired a medley of curries and sides then move on to a round up of easy one-pan chicken dishes, a variety of pasta bakes and meatballs, and using one simple yet delicious tart base we whip up five fab filling options. Sarah’s wintry faves include a moreish chorizo (not) carbonara, lamb and spinach filo pie and we finish off with sweet treats and decadent puds.
